On October 24, 2026, our members joined colleagues from the Department of Linguistics in welcoming prospective students and their families to HKU Information Day.
As part of the event, we showcased electroencephalography (EEG) technology and introduced visitors to its applications in neurolinguistic research. Through an interactive demonstration, visitors gained insights into how researchers use EEG to investigate neural activity associated with language processing and how experimental methods contribute to our understanding of the relationship between language and the brain.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with the public, share our research, and inspire interest in the scientific study of language. We thank everyone who visited and participated in the discussions!
